The environment

Over the years we have fine-tuned our business to the prevalent environmental norms and efficient waste management practices.

Sustainability

• Integrating environmental sustainability into everyday decision making and employee actions from using eco-friendly products like adhesives to undertaking economical recycling procedures.
• Procuring timber and timber products sourced and produced from sustainable sources.
• Reduce waste through recycling and reclaiming to use in our factory heating system.  When this is not possible the waste timber along with any other construction waste is transported to a waste disposal company who, on receipt of the waste, separates out the recyclable material for re-use by others or dispose in the most environmentally responsible way possible.

Social Responsibility

As a company, we are very conscious of the value of our business to our local community and as a direct result wherever possible we use local contractors, suppliers, and services.

We also actively promote staff training opportunities, in particular through our long-established apprenticeship scheme. And we work hard to create a safe and respectful working environment for all of our staff.

We are also a long-standing supporter of Barnardos, the UK’s leading children’s charity, through payroll giving, helping them in their mission to transform the lives of vulnerable children.
